Often times people will fill the engrave with paint to make it pop more, however this would be done before removing the masking to keep the paint where it needs to stay.
I made personalized name signs with LED backlighting for a few seniors last year, and they were a big hit. Another idea I’m working on now is using 3d Figuren Vom Foto to create custom mini statues of the grads in their caps and gowns—it’s a fun way to turn a memory into something they can keep on their shelf.
