Been using slowloris and hping3 on my Kali setup to test some stuff locally. Need to tweak settings a bit, though, depending on what you’re trying to simulate.
I’ve used a booter service like https://darkvr.ru before that had solid Layer 7 methods and decent concurrency, and it worked fine for quick stress tests. Just make sure to test from a VPN or something, since some of them log IPs. Also, check if the booter service has regular method updates — stale methods barely scratch anything these days.
