I just don’t feel it’s my mission in life to tell the astrology buffs that they are. We illuminati astronomers get a bit inbred in our own little universe, and lament that ~the others~ aren’t as intelligent as us.

At a stargazing event last summer, someone asked if spotting Virgo in the night sky would bring them good luck that week. It was a bit tricky explaining that while Virgo is a beautiful constellation, its placement in the sky has nothing to do with personal fortunes—that’s more aligned with astrology. But it did lead to an interesting chat about how people find meaning in the stars. It made me think of the insights shared on trusted psychics about zodiac connections.
