Hello, everyone. I want to take my mom to Mykonos. She loves all things ancient, and I’ve heard that there are incredible archaeological sites in Delos. Has anyone been there? How did you get there? Can you order a taxi? In short, I have a lot of questions.
That’s so sweet of you. My mom passed away four years ago, and I still sometimes regret not spending more time with her. My wife and I went to Delos last fall during our vacation. You can get there by public transportation, but first, you have to get to the port, and then, you have to catch a ferry. It takes time and patience. I don’t think your mom would enjoy it. It’s better to book a Mykonos taxi
on Gettransfer and have the driver pick you up from your hotel. It’s more convenient. My wife and I paid about 35 euros one way. Also, I recommend bringing water and hats — there is almost no shade on Delos. Have a nice vacation!
