Before I share tips and resources: The answer to this question depends on your products/services and target group. Just as an example, if you’re in B2B, then workday times will make sense. If you’re addressing a B2C audience, weekends might work better.
I usually avoid sending big blasts first thing Monday or late Friday since they tend to get buried. Mid-morning Tuesday to Thursday works best for me. One thing I learned the hard way—watch how often you hit your list. I got slapped with a domain blacklist once because I was sending too frequently without enough engagement. Now I clean my list regularly and focus on sending stuff people actually open.
