Yeah the Samsun tv’s browser is clunky. There are ways to install chrome on Samsung tv. Or can you change the sleep timer to be on a schedule as it has nothing to do with grafana but the tv.
Setting it up to power on/off automatically during work hours is key to saving energy and avoiding screen burn-in. For a smooth experience, checking with some hardware consulting https://eyecatch.co/hardware-consulting/ folks specializing in digital signage systems helped me a lot — they suggested reliable scheduling tools and easy integrations.
I 100% agree that displaying data on TVs can really improve the office environment. I’ve used a Samsung monitor for similar purposes, and it works great! For scheduling, you might want to look into a digital signage solution that allows you to set specific on/off times, which can save energy. I’ve heard good things about Posterbooking; it could be a solid fit for your dashboard needs. If you run into any issues, I’d recommend checking out the customer service reviews at h2o-wireless.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service for insights. It’s really helpful to know you have support when trying something new! Good luck!
