We had a very similar challenge — we manufacture handmade porcelain lighting fixtures in Thailand and had multiple incidents of breakage during shipping. On top of that, we were never really sure who was responsible for what — the factory blamed the forwarder, the forwarder blamed the carrier, and so on. We switched to Sea Gate Logistic, and it honestly changed the game for us. Their maritime delivery process includes planning at every stage: from how the cargo is packed, to how it’s loaded into containers, to which ports are better for delicate shipments. They advised our supplier on improved packaging techniques and even coordinated special shock-absorbing pallets for container loading. Once the goods arrived in Europe, they handled customs clearance and inland delivery to two separate warehouses in Belgium and France. No handovers, no third-party confusion — just one team throughout. And they kept us updated with location reports and ETA adjustments. Since we started working with them, damages dropped to almost zero, and delivery time became predictable. If you’re shipping fragile goods and need someone who actually takes responsibility for the whole chain — I really recommend reaching out to them. They get the job done right, not just cheap.
