I have a 2004 TJ and wanted to see if anyone has installed an aftermarket dash cam setup. If so, which fuse slots did you use to connect the ACC (accessory cord) and BATT (battery cord) to?
I am wanting to have power when the ignition is on (for the ACC wire) or at all times (for the BATT wire).
Thanks in advance.
I ended up tapping into the fuse box using an add-a-fuse to power mine, with a ground to the dash support. If you’re adding more equipment like a camera with 360 view later on, it’s worth planning ahead for extra power needs. I also routed the rear cam wire along the headliner and down the passenger side—super easy and keeps things looking clean.
