I’ve used my Shadow 2 in an industrial ultrasonic generator a bunch of times with zero issues. Just make sure you completely strip it, including grips and springs, and use a solution that’s safe for aluminum. I rinse everything with hot water right after and blow it dry with compressed air before oiling. Whole thing comes out clean without any scrubbing.
