I love to teach children because they have such a huge desire to learn new things! When children are put in a enjoyable and exciting environment, they learn something while having fun and they truly grasp so much more of what they're being taught. They have so much enthusiasm that it rubs off on everybody around them. That's why I love teaching the MYC® program.
My goal as a teacher is to inspire the children to love the wonder of music. I would like to give the students memorable experiences of not just playing the piano, but also of singing, of composing, and of developing rhythm in the body so that it comes naturally at the piano.
My philosophy is to use our time well, to remain organized and communicate effectively to parents, and to use rewards and incentives when we successfully meet our learning goals. Everyone receives positive energy and respect and many smiles !
I can’t believe how lucky and blessed I am to share my love of teaching music with the families in my community. We will create many more memories in Richmond Hill, Ontario at Music for Young Children®!
