About me:

Hello, and Welcome, my name is Shannon and I am the owner, and one of the teachers at Starbright Studio. I have been teaching piano for 21 years, and MYC specifically for 12 years. I discovered MYC with my oldest when we registered for Sunbeams one, I was in love from day one, and have never looked back.  I am trained in teaching both Royal Conservatory and Canadian Conservatory programs, as well as a bachelor's degree in Child Development.

Music and kids are the best combinations; we learn together, laugh together and teach each other.

The goal of Starbright studios is to provide quality education for every student at every level.

She adapts very well to the needs of the class when each child has very different characteristics, this holds especially true to my son who suddenly becomes high energy in her class and Ms. Shannon never misses a beat. The structure is very good and it is amazing to see how they simplify notes so that toddlers understand, and if being honest, even parents. We are especially fond of the holiday treats she provides, which are always made with the children's allergies in mind.
