Offering demo classes for Sunshine 1 on Saturday Sept 6th and Sunshine 1 and Sunbeams 1 demo classes Wednesday Sept 10th. Contact me for more information!

Over the summer, I offer individual virtual introductory sessions for new students who would like to meet me and get a taste of what Music for Young Children classes are like. Please contact me for more details and to arrange a virtual session!

ABOUT ME

My musical journey began with MYC as a proud Sunbeams 1 student almost 30 years ago. MYC opened up a new world of discovery and self-expression, building a strong work ethic and inspiring confidence. Classes provided a strong foundation for my future musical endeavours, ultimately gifting me with the knowledge that I had a unique voice that mattered and deserved to be heard. I'm grateful for the opportunity to gift my MYC students with that experience and open their eyes to the world of music.

My music teachers profoundly influenced my life. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Toronto, a Master’s Degree in Music from UBC, as well as Grade 9 piano certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Over the past 20 years, I have taught private lessons in piano, French horn, trumpet, music theory, and MYC classes.

As an MYC teacher, I always strive to impart a love of music and teach students skills they can use to express themselves musically and cultivate a voice of their own.
