I've been teaching Music For Young Children since the fall of 2002. I was a mom in the program since 1998. I fell in love with the program within 1 month of my son's first lesson.  I found that group lessons motivated my children, and they were having fun while learning.  It was so much more than piano lessons and I was excited to start teaching the program as well as have all my 3 children graduate from the program.

Music was always a big part of my family. I started piano lessons when I was 6 and continued after completing high school. I taught private lessons in my home town of Bellevue, Saskatchewan and also in Saskatoon while going to University.  I played the organ for our church choir while growing up and accompanied for many talent shows.  Once I became a mom, I didn't spend as much time playing the piano.  After my son started in the Music for Young Children program I couldn't help but feel that this had been a part missing in my life. Now I teach the program full time and play the piano in the church choir.
