Sarah Stansford

Hi! I'm Sarah Stansford.  Welcome to my MYC website and Making Melody Music Studio! I am pleased to be offering music and piano lessons in Marystown, Newfoundland.  This is my fourteenth year of teaching the Music for Young Children program in Marystown (Creston North), and I'm loving introducing children (and parents!) to music in an age-appropriate and educationally sound way.  My goal is to teach children the skills that they need to read, sing, play, and compose music in a way that is enjoyable to both child and parent. With 15 years of piano, voice, and theory instruction, I have used my training and love of music by playing and singing in school, college, and church choirs, ensembles, and other vocal groups.  I have also enjoyed leading children's choirs and accompanying in church.  I have my BREd with a minor in music, and I have taught private piano lessons over the last 31 years.
