I am now entering into my sixteenth of teaching MYC, and each year has been better than the last.  My family first discovered the Music For Young Children program when my older sister was 4. As a baby and toddler, I frequently accompanied my mom and sister to her music lessons, and at the age of 4, I began my MYC studies as well in the Sunshine One program.  I currently hold advanced levels from the Royal conservatory of music in flute, piano, theory and history, as well as a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Manitoba.   Although many options exist for teaching and instruction, I fully believe that MYC offers the best combination of education and fun essential for teaching children music. Fall class times have been set!! There is space for children of all ages: Sunrise-Prekeyboard for children ages 2-4, Saturdays 5:30-6:15, begins October 18 Sunshine One-Beginner keyboard for children ages 3.5-5 (junior kindergarten/senior kindergarten)-Saturdays 11am-12 noon Moonbeams Three-for children ages 7+ who will be entering into approximately Level One Royal Conservatory of Music/Conservatory Canada. Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 Limited spaces are also available for private flute and piano students.
