For schedule and more check out http://www.performancestudiosfergus.com My love of children and music led to my vision of providing a musical education for all ages from birth to 99 years old.  After teaching private lessons for a number of years I discovered the MYC program and now have over 25 years of wonderful memories of introducing hundreds of children to Dinosaur D, Fireman Fred and the rest of the critters.  The children find our critter friends help us experience the joy of learning music and rhythm in a warm and safe environment. As our students progress through MYC to become Moonbeams III graduates they attend weekly one hour sessions with a parent or caregiver.  This is an especially exciting time for learning and bonding. Throughout the year we are involved with the community and present opportunities to perform. Some of the events include the Not So Grand Players shows at the Fergus Grand Theatre, Christmas Festival at the Wellington County Museum, Elora Arts Youth Concerts, music festivals, our own concert and more. Private lessons are offered for piano, keyboard, guitar, vocal, ukulele, recorder, harmonica, bass, drums, mandolin and theory. MYC BIG MUSIC ROOM & PRIVATE STUDIOS Large area with enough space to hold a full class of children and their parent. Five full-size digital pianos, electronic keyboards, drum sets, many rhythm instruments, guitars, bass, ukulele, amps wireless sound systems and more. Roland CD2 recorder, MT90, drum pad, I-pad, laptop computer. Special seasonal themes and practice incentives throughout the year. The studio location: In the northeast end of the lovely Scottish town of Fergus with easy access from main roads close to many schools and our own recycled pavement parking lot. Other Information There is a very comfortable waiting room great for parents and students to catch up on reading or homework or play games together quietly.  Also computer with music theory games too! Compositions and photo albums are on hand to look through as well as a monitor displaying pictures of students making music during the year.
