Hello parents of young musicians!

My name is Jolene and I have been teaching group and private piano since 2013.  I originally taught at Merriam School of Music in Oakville before moving to Milton and opening my home studio.  After my own 2-year-old started developing interest in music, I began searching for the best program available for little ones and happily discovered Music for Young Children. MYC has an engaging, holistic approach to learning music that my own kids love to be a part of and that I love to teach. I am often amazed at what my students can do and how well they retain what is taught in class through, stories, games, singing, and ensemble playing. My favourite part about MYC is that families get to experience being a part of a musical community. It is special to see parents and kids growing and learning together as a team, and making lasting friendships with their MYC classmates. I hope you join us!
