My daughter Michelle was one of my first Sunshine 1 Music for Young Children (MYC) students at the age of 3. Today, we are business partners with a combined 80+ years’ experience between us to offer young families seeking exceptional music education, currently offering music classes on 2 continents in 3 countries. One exemplary example of this is our Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Gold Medal Winner for Level One Piano (Jan 2013)!

Qualifications: ARCT, piano, Bachelor of Education, ECE Training, MYC Certified.

I offer 40+ years of MYC teaching experience, 50+ years of private piano teaching experience, along with several years of formal classroom teaching experience. During my teaching career I have seen the growth young children experience when starting music lessons at a young age. Studies support the premise that early childhood music experiences enhance brain development & are much more beneficial than computer training. In my experience I have seen how children & their parents enjoy the MYC classroom experience. I am the proud teacher of a MYC student promoted on Rogers Cable TV (2009) who was an international composition winner of the MYC program at the tender age of 4! You can view the video here.

Many of the students do well in school, are successful in exams & auditions & some have gone onto other performing disciplines, the performing arts, community theater & professional gigs. ·      Minimum 2 students and maximum 6 students in the class
