Are you looking for music lessons in Lethbridge,
Alberta? Music for Young Children's group classes are so much more than
just a piano lesson!

Music for Young Children in Lethbridge is the only child-centered
music-learning system that integrates keyboard, creative movement,
rhythm, singing, ear training, sight reading, music theory and
composition.
Hi! I’m Lydia.
I’m thrilled to offer music lessons at 318 B 13th St N,
Lethbridge, AB!
My initial introduction to MYC was through a friend who became a certified MYC teacher so she could teach her own children the program. I heard her kids play and was
astounded: they could play by ear, chord, read music, sing in tune, compose their own songs, play as a group, and keep incredible time. And most of all: they loved their music!
I am now
convinced that MYC is the best music program in which to introduce children to the foundation of music because . . .
It’s
MOTIVATING: Learning together in a group setting is fabulous for children because it’s an inviting, free, and engaging environment. Each lesson incorporates note reading, sight reading, ear training, singing, rhythm dictation, ensemble playing, movement, composing, music history, and more. Coming to class with your child provides special one-on-one time, and teaches you music, too!
It’s FUN: We enjoy music together and children come to class wanting to discover, explore, create, and perfect. We use puppets, crafts, rhythm instruments, CD accompaniments, bell instruments, pianos, stories, and visual aids to make learning a memorable and flourishing experience!
If you would like more information, I’d love to talk to you; but for now, make yourself at home as you explore my site.
Let the music continue,
Lydia
Collin

has learned! You are an awesome teacher."
- Tina, Foremost AB
"I want to thank
you for all our efforts! You are an amazing teacher and I am so thankful
to have a lady of such beauty and character inside and out teaching my
girls. I appreciate your excitement, smile, influence, and patience."
- Christine, Lehtbridge AB
"Lydia teaches a wide range of musical skills, such as sight-reading,
technique, ear training, improvisation, composition, and theory. My own
playing has improved significantly under her teaching, as she is a very
professional teacher, who fully understands what she teaches. Lydia has
especially increased my understanding of musical history, which has
helped me put the music I play into perspective. She always has
practical input to offer on my playing, and I aspire to become as good a
musician as she.
I am very thankful for her, and look forward to
years of lessons with her in the future!"
- Hannah, age 14 (private student)
