Meet the Teacher

Hi! I'm Shoshanna Godber

I am excited to begin my third year teaching the MYC program. I’m confident that MYC is an excellent music program - I only wish it had been around when I was a child! As well as singing and playing the piano, my musical exploration has included violin, flute, celtic harp, guitar and banjo, so I know from experience that MYC provides a wonderful foundation to succeed on any instrument. My oldest just finished his second year of MYC, and I'm thrilled with how much he has learned and the enjoyment he gets out of the program. I would love to be given the chance to help your child along their musical journey as well.

Qualifications:

Royal Conservatory trained in piano, voice and theory

Bachelor of Music from U.B.C.

Numerous years of experience teaching private piano and voice lessons

Several years of experience leading a parent and child program which includes songs and rhymes

Regular performer (piano, voice, banjo and celtic harp)

Church pianist
