A private music teacher with 18 years of experience,  I have taught all ages and levels of Piano and have successfully prepared students for University admission into Music.  I hold my Piano Pedagogy Certificate through Conservatory Canada.  I love teaching children music and have two children of my own.  It is so rewarding for me to observe a child "get it" and the pride shining on their little faces.  I have extensive knowledge of child development  from my experience and training both as a La Leche League Leader and a foster parent.  You can read a 2005 Today's Parent article in which I am interviewed on the subject of teaching piano.  I am active in local theatre, and will be directing "Earth's Last Days" in Halifax in November, and appearing in A Christmas Carol in December.

My studio motto is "Music Lessons Made Fun!"  There's nothing like Music For Young Children classes to put the fun in music, and I'm pleased to be offering these programs in my Marion Bridge studio, 3704 Gabarus Hwy, just 10 minutes from Sydney, Nova Scotia.  You can contact me at 371-7369 or charron.k@gmail.com
