Music for Young Children is a keyboard class that motivates and engages both parents and children. MYC is enriched with solid music foundations and allows me to provide you with an enpowering and enjoyable music experience for both you and your child. It is my goal that your introduction to music through MYC will be the beginning of a life that includes the joy of playing and appreciating music.
This year is my eighteenth year of teaching MYC. I also teach private piano lessons up to Grade Eight including Rudiments theory. My piano education began at age seven and most recently concluded with the completion of my A.R.C.T. teachers diploma through the Royal Conservatory of Music. I continue to upgrade my teaching skills with workshops and conferences. My formal education also includes a B.A. from Simon Fraser University. I am a member of the Registered Music Teachers Association (Coquitlam/Maple Ridge branch), Maple Ridge Arts Council and the Ridge Meadows Early Childhood Development Committee.
