I truly believe MYC is the best music program out there…it’s high quality learning, it’s innovative, and it’s FUN!

The kids call me Miss Jen,  I'm in my 3rd year of teaching MYC and I’m still super excited about this program!  I have studied piano since I was 7 years old. I have completed my Royal Conservatory grade 8 exam, Theory Level II.   I love teaching children, and have years of experience in swimming instruction through the Red Cross, with children age 6 months -14 yrs.  I have now decided to teach music because, as a parent, I believe music education is extremely important to a child’s development.  My 5 year old son is a SUNSHINE student, and he loves the songs, the critter stories and doing his 'homework' each week in his music books. He’s having so much fun he doesn’t even realize he’s developing confidence, exercising focus  and building a solid foundation of understanding and enjoying music!   

I’m so happy to be able to bring MYC to other children, to share the rich teachings of music in a fun and nurturing environment.

I am offering 4 age-appropriate beginner levels, as well as 'Music Pups' parent & tot classes. I hope you and your child will join me this year for some fun and learning!
