I grew up in the Canadian prairies. I moved to Quebec in 2017. It is at that time I started teaching MYC (Music for Young Children). Prior to teaching MYC, I gained experience teaching in a music studio, as well as working with some of my own private piano students. I have taught many neurodivergent individuals, using both my educational background and experience to shape my approach. 

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Music. I have completed my Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music certification along with the required theory, history and counterpoint studies.

I have three of my own children, all of whom I have taught in the MYC program, providing me both a teacher's and parent's perspective.

I am a organized teacher with the ability to adapt to the needs of your child within the pre-established structure. I believe the students thrive when they have consistency and clear understanding of what is expected of them. I recognize that each child is unique and may require different approaches, and I am prepared to adapt as needed.  

My studio is located in my home. It is equipped with 5 digital keyboards and an acoustic piano. There is a small waiting area to use if needed.
