The Music for Young Children® teacher must have a natural, accurate singing voice, grade eight conservatory/advanced piano performance and theory skills. A music degree is not required. However, proficiency is a prerequisite to Music for Young Children training.

When your application is received, a coordinator will contact you to set up an interview, either in person, or by phone if distance does not permit a personal interview. If you are accepted into the MYC® Teacher Training Program, your next step is to register for the Level 1 MYC training seminar. To ensure a seminar space, a deposit is required in advance. Your coordinator will give you the details.
