*There will be 34 lessons plus 2 recitals this teaching year. There will be no lessons during Christmas break or Spring break.
*Lesson fees are $60 month. For 2 students in the family, the fee is $110/per month. Please bring nine post-dated cheques to the first class payable to Shoshanna Godber. Registration/material fees are due at registration and are required to hold your child's space in the class. There will be a $5 charge for NSF cheques. If this payment method doesn’t work for you, please let me know, and we can come up with an alternative.
*Please consider the program a 9 month commitment (I cannot fill a space mid-year). September and October fees are non-refundable. After that I ask for four weeks notice to be given if withdrawing from class. Missed classes will not be refunded though you may email me or phone me to request homework. If I miss a class, the class will be made up or refunded.
*Each student will need access to a keyboard (preferably touch-sensitive) for practicing. Five days practice every week should be the goal and the more parental involvement the better!
*A parent must accompany their child to class. Please take notes on new concepts and enthusiastically participate with your child in class. Your enthusiasm will be contagious. Also, parents please try to refrain from visiting in class.
*I strive to start classes on time, so please strive to be on time so your child does not miss out. Obviously there will be exceptions, and I would rather that you come late than not at all.
*To ensure a quality class for all students, siblings may not be present in the classroom (except in circumstances to be discussed with me first). There is a waiting room equipped with toys that siblings may use.
*Two recitals will be included in the program. One will be in January and one in June (exact date and time TBA).
