Hi! I'm Suzanne Brown
I've been singing, teaching and sharing the joy of music all across the United States and Canada for over 35 years and am thrilled to be opening my own studio in September of 2011 in Oakville, Ontario to help introduce the joy of music to your infants and toddlers.
Studies have shown that early childhood music education not only increases the
music aptitude of children as they grow but their general aptitude as well.
Through MYC's carefully designed Sunrise music program and Music Time for Sunrise for Daycare Centers, I will be teaching the principles of music without them even knowing. The program will also help form habits for success early by developing and reinforcing:
- listening awareness
- movement and coordination
- gross & fine motor skills
- social interaction
- confidence
- attention span
- basic reading skills
- brain patterns
- the natural joy of music & singing & much more...
My training was under a full Musical Theater Scholarship so we will be in essence, singing, dancing and moving our way to a better understanding of music.
