As a piano teacher in St. Boniface, I have enjoyed the

wonderful privilege of helping many children

form the happy habit of making music.

MYC is not just another early childhood music exposure program, rather it is a comprehensive early childhood music education program.

I am in my 6th year of teaching the Music for Young Children program. I believe it is the best program for children to learn to play piano because of it's child centered approach, meeting each child at their different learning styles. It is amazing how much children learn how to play piano when quality music education is blended with the pleasure and joy of music making.

The programs I offer:

Music Pups - a wonderful way to nurture the musical aptitude with which a child is born. Through participation in the informal music lessons, children, 3 months to 2 1/2 years of age, learn to associate music with fun, and parents learn how to become their child's first music teacher.

Sunrise - designed for children 2 1/2 to 4 years of age. The children have a fun time learning all kinds of things that will help them when they mature enough for MYC piano lessons.

MYC piano programs - for students 3 years of age and up. The piano based lessons include
instruction in rhythm, singing, sight reading, ear training, theory and composition. The classes are fun-filled and age appropriate.
