I have been happily teaching the Music for Young Children program since 1982 and served as Regional Coordinator from 1984 to the summer of 2006. I have passed the Coordinator torch to Megan Henley while I assist her as I am needed and continue teaching my own MYC classes. The MYC program continues to be refined, to grow and to expand, but the core program is the same as Frances Balodis envisioned and embarked upon in 1980. My background took me in other directions first (in my native North Carolina) and then I returned to the study of piano as an adult in Canada, finally achieving my ARCT diploma. I truly enjoy the interaction with children and their parents. Happy music making!
