Teaching Philosophy

I have been teaching piano privately for the last twelve years. I believe that everyone can learn music. We all have a certain amount of musicality that needs to be nurtured and developed. Exposure to music lessons helps a child develop social and cognitive skills. Self confidence rises as new concepts are learned and mastered. Music is for everyone and it needs to be fun. Something so beautiful should be enjoyable. That's why I teach Music for Young Children. The music instruction is sound yet the program is fun and very child centered. MYC provides a solid musical foundation that stays with the child for a lifetime. Group instruction provides motivation and socialization opportunities. Music instruction is a wonderful gift to give your child.
