- All MYC piano/keyboard classes require parent participation.
- Parents do not need a musical background to begin class with their child.
- Classes are one hour in length once a week for 34 weeks.
- Children are required to practice 5 times during the week.
- Missed lessons are non-refundable but you may drop by and pick up the lesson from the homework board or I will e-mail it to you by request.
Parking
- Please park in front of the house,in the driveway or by the mailbox on Mallard St.

Keyboard or Piano Essentials
- A 4 octave range is the minimum length of the keyboard required for at home practice.
- The best keyboard is one that is touch sensitive
- The best option is a real piano.

Parents and Practicing at Home.
- Communication between us is important. If you need to talk to me regarding your child, please call during the day or evening, so that class time can be reserved for teaching.
- It is very important for Mom or Dad to sit with the music student during at home practice, especially for the first few months.
- It is very difficult at this age to have a productive practice session all by yourself!
- Parents are the key to the child’s success in MYC®. Your presence in class really pays off in knowing what is expected.
