FEES 2009-2010
When you register a child in MYC, you are reserving a spot for the duration of the class. Sunshine, Sunbeam and Moonbeam are year-long programs, and I cannot “re-fill” a child’s seat after classes have begun. Therefore before registering, please take time to seriously consider the commitment required for MYC. Determine, from the start, that you and your child will “stick with it” by attending classes regularly, completing home assignments, and daily practicing keyboard pieces. A $25 processing fee will be charged for NSF cheques.
Registration Fee:
A $40 non-refundable Registration Fee is required to reserve a seat for your child in the Sunshine, Sunbeam or Moonbeam programs. Receipts are available upon request.
- Sunrise: $100 for 10, 45-minute lessons. That’s only $10 per lesson! A cheque for the entire lesson fee is required upon registering.
- Sunshine, Sunbeam and Moonbeam: $594 per year for 34, 1-hour lessons and two recitals. That’s only $16.50 per session! A discount on lesson fees is available for families registering more than one child. Post-dated cheques for the lesson fees are required upon registering. Late cheques (after the second lesson) are subject to a $50 administration charge. The following payment options are available:

- One cheque in the amount of $594 dated the first of September.
- Two cheques dated the first of September and January ($297 each).
- Three cheques dated the first of September, December and March ($198 each).
- Nine cheques dated the first of every month, September through May ($66 each).
Curriculum Fee:
Payment for the entire curriculum is required upon registering. If you are registering more than one child, please contact me about family pricing. Music kits include a manual, student activity book, parent guide, MYC carry bag, castanet, music dictation tin sheet and magnets, and studio supplies for the year. Curriculum fees (not including studio supplies) go directly to MYC Head Office. Taxes are included in the prices. Please make cheques payable to Jennifer Yuen. Receipts are available upon request.

REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS 2009-2010
To reserve a spot in one of the Fall 2009 classes, please complete a registration form, sign the parental agreement and mail them along with the payments outlined above to Jennifer’s Music Studio, 308-547 Niagara Street, Victoria, BC, V8V 1H2. If you are registering more than one child, you will qualify for family pricing so please contact me before completing the paperwork. After your registration has been received, I will email you a confirmation with details about your MYC class. If a class is full, I will contact you and ask if you wish to be added to the waitlist or if I can assist you in finding another MYC teacher.
