Parents
Parent participation is required for Music For Young Children classes.
Parents are kindly asked not to visit with one another in class
Please do not bring siblings to class. This time is for student and parent bonding. (Sibling room available)
Lessons are very extensive so please be prompt to get the most out of every class.
Payments
The registration fee is required to reserve a spot in a class.
Postdated payments for the 1st of each month for 9 months is expected
There are 34 lessons and 2 recitals. No lessons during school vacations.
In the event of a missed class you will be mailed the homework sheet. There are no refunds for missed classes.
1 month advanced notice required for discontinuation of the program
Practice
Practice routines established early and maintained are essential to success in MYC.
Student/parent teams are to practice at least 5 times per week. Parents of Sunshine students can incorporate reinforcing teaching concepts in everyday activities ie. driving in the car, a clapping game while waiting at the dentist, etc.
Practice incentives from the teacher and parents will motivate the students.
