Welcome to my studio website!
In addition to private lessons, I am very excited to be offering Music for Young Children classes from my home music studio!
I believe that Music for Young Children is an excellent music foundation program. It provides children with the solid foundation they need to succeed well in music.
Classes are age-appropriate, fun, and effective at providing children with the tools they need for later success in private piano lessons or another instrument of their choice.
Upon completion of the Music for Young Children program, students are well prepared to take the Royal Conservatory Grade 1 Piano exam as well as Preliminary Rudiments in theory.
I enjoy many musical activities and appreciate all genres of music. I started learning to play the piano when I was around 3 years old and continued on in private lessons to complete my Royal Conservatory Grade 8 in 1998. I have also accompanied and participated in various choirs, participated in band and jazz-band and Church music ministries. I've taught private piano lessons since finishing my Royal Conservatory Grade 8 in 1998 and look forward to teaching MYC and private students for many years to come. I am currently working towards completing my ARCT.
My studio is located in Rutland, Kelowna BC.
