STUDIO NEWS:

Really enjoyed the Summer session of Music Pups. My little son had a blast and is a little singer now- always shaking his head and moving his feet when he likes a song :) He also learned how to "tidy up" instruments after we finished playing with them. Great Frog collection- good songs, catchy tunes, fun words ( No, yes) and a fantastic set of parents and kids- We really had a great time together....Hope to see you in the fall !!!

Summer lessons have begun and I am very impressed with the kids dedication to practising over the holidays. Keep it up kids. You will find everything easier to achieve in the next level :)

My studio's 5th annual recital was held on May 30th 2010 at First Baptist Church .All the kids performed very well. Our surprise performers ( parents of SB3) were fantastic in their quartet.It was a great afternoon of solo piano music, ensembles, songs, rhythm ensembles - wonderful performances by everyone. I can't wait for next years recital.:)

Grade 2 THEORY results are out. Fantastic results from all my students. Rina Patel topped with 97/100. Well done !!! Now onto the piano exams !!

Very proud of all my 5 students who participate in the Kiwanis festival held in April 2010. I am extremely satisfied with their results - yes we did have a few wins but the main thing is that they all had FUN, they all enjoyed themselves, they all learnt something and they all want to be BACK next year!! That's the spirit kids !! You guys ROCK !!!

Our Musical winter Olympics 2010 is on full swing. The 3 teams are Canada, China and England. Most teams have completed the ice hockey and curling challenges. The scores are very tight right now, so keep practising kids to get your score up there!!. Medals will be distributed first week of March !!

February: Pennies for practice - We are practising to collect pennies towards the Fireman's foundation CampBucko. Everyone is practising hard to collect pennies for this charity. The most minutes that any one child has practised so far has been 180 minutes.

March - Getting ready for Kiwanis and exams!!

Our Christmas party 2009 was held on Dec 12th and was a big success. All the kids perfomed very well esp the wee ones and parents did well in the games that followed and everyone enjoyed the goodies afterward. Music, fun, food, camaraderie- it was an enjoyable afternoon for all - Thanks to all the parents who brought in food esp the different ethnic foods !!
