Below is a list of special events for this teaching year:
- November, 2011; Our Canada Music Week Concert was held at Grace Manor in Holland Christian Homes, a long-term care facility in Brampton. Residents enjoyed a combination of Canadian & Christmas music.
- MYC students in my studio have finished their own composition for MYC's Composition Festival, which ended February 24th.
- In February of 2012, most students, NYC & private students, participated in a concert at Grace Manor of Holland Christian Homes, the second concert there in this season. Both students and the residents of Grace Manor expressed their desire to do this again next year.
- There may be workshops for private piano students in 2012, but as yet unscheduled.
- Our season-end concert will be held in a church building in June of 2012, in which all students, both MYC and private piano students, will have the opportunity to perform.
Current Events;
- Please check the headings on the left side-bar under schedule for the 2011-12 season, as all classes and their week-day and time are posted for 2011-12.
- Early-Bird Registration will take place during the month of April for returning students. Next season's schedule should be ready by the month of June. Registration for level one students begins at this time.

- April 2011; MYC Regional Meeting - for professional development & updates
- August 2011: Contemporary Idioms with David Story, through Conservatory Canada - a 4-day series
- August 2011: Lakefield Music Camp - a week-long residence adult & family music camp, offering a wide variety of musical instruction and activities
- September 2011: MYC Regional Meeting - for professional development & updates
- January to May & September to December, 2011 & continuing in 2012; voice lessons
- September & November 2011; 1-day Organ Workshops in Toronto
- February 20, 2012; Morning workshop with Paul Coates, entitled, "Taming the Practice Monster"
