| Location: I teach children's music lessons out of my apartment in downtown Vancouver close to the Vancouver Aquatic Centre and the Granville Island Ferry terminal. The children who take piano classes with me come from Downtown, Yaletown, the West End, Coal Harbour, Kitsilano, Chinatown and Commercial Drive. The #2 / 22 / 32 and 44 buses stops right at my corner, the small blue community buses #C23 Main Street Station / Davie or # C21 Yaletown / Beach / Burrard Station stop just a block away and I'm a few minutes' walk from the new Canada Line Yaletown-Roundhouse Skytrain station! Equipment: There are enough keyboards for each child to play at one time. Each of the keyboards if touch sensitive and has full-sized keys. There is a wide variety of quality rhythm instruments for the children to use. Seating Arrangements: Parents sit behind their children on the carpet during their child's music lesson. There are no more than four children per class. Classroom Activities: Each class includes Rhythm, Singing, Learning to Play the Keyboard, Games, Positive Reinforcement and Fun! |
