Hi, I'm Anita Shum.
Welcome to Music for Young Children in Vancouver, BC.
I have taught piano lessons and group music lessons for over 20 years and continue to enjoy teaching MYC group classes, private lessons and Theory lessons. My musical students range from preschool ages 3 to adults. My piano education and training includes the following: Royal Conservatory of Music Teacher Training (RCM), Victoria Conservatory of Music Teacher Training (AVCM), Kelly Kirby Kindergarten, Suzuki, and Music for Young Children. I hold a AVCM in Teaching from the Victoria Conservatory of Music where I studied with renowned piano teacher Winifred Scott Wood and Dr. Jamie Syer.
